800G CoreChannel™ sled for long-haul links
With the addition of our CoreChannel™ sled, the FSP 3000 TeraFlex™ can transport 800Gbit/s over industry-best distances, making it ideal for long-haul network infrastructure and also submarine links. Using 140GBd subcarrier technology, the TeraFlex™ CoreChannel™ is able to transmit 800Gbit/s over more than 1,600km. This provides an improvement in reach of over 50% compared with 95GBd technologies. Compatible with deployed ROADMs and with the best SNR metrics on the market, TeraFlex™ CoreChannel™ features multi-rate client support and can be configured for any mix of 400GbE, 100GbE and 10GbE services. This provides customers with complete flexibility and protects their investment as they migrate to higher speeds.
As TeraFlex™ is part of our FSP 3000 platform, it’s completely open and SDN programmable with open and standards-based APIs.
