A training course on ADVA FSP 3000R7 hardware. Including ROADMs and 100G modules. Selected Active Channel Cards, Passive Filters and Optical Amplifiers. Installation specifics. Including Provisioning & Commissioning. Students will be guided setting up a working system step-by-step - from Point to Point, Multiplexed, Amplified and with ROADMs. Introduction to High Density Shelves. ESD Instructions, Fiber handling, fiber and port cleaning are also part of this class. (4.5 days)

FSP 3000R7 Maintenance and Troubleshooting (open class)
A training course that covers the ADVA FSP 3000R7 system with respect to maintenance and troubleshooting. We will work on a ‘running’ training system setup. Please note: Troubleshooting Control Plane/Network Intelligence is not in focus of this training (2 days)

Installing & Operating FSP 3000 CloudConnect™ (open class)
A training course on ADVA FSP 3000 Cloud Connect using CLI. OpenFabric, QuadFlex and CryptoMux will be covered in detail. (3 days)

Installing & Operating FSP 3000 CloudConnect™ Operate High Density Shelf within FSP 3000 Agile Connect (open class)
A training course on ADVA FSP 3000 CloudConnect™ using CLI. OpenFabric, QuadFlex and CryptoMux will be covered in detail. Goal of the last day is to learn how to add HD shelves to FSP 3000R7 for management only. No further FSP 3000R7 modules like active channel cards etc. will be covered. We expect students to be familiar with FSP 3000R7 management modules like NCU, SCU, etc.(4 days)

Operating FSP 3000 AgileConnect™ with High Density Shelf (DCI) (open class)
This basic user training is intended for the beginner users of HD shelves being managed by FSP 3000R7. Based on an existing P2P system with fixed filters, students will learn how to connect HD shelves to FSP 3000R7 to integrate QuadFlex, OpenFab, CryptoMux/CryptoMux+ and TeraFlex solutions. Services will be provisioned via Network Element Director (NED). (4 days)

Operating FSP 3000 AgileConnect™ with High Density Shelf (Carrier) (open class)
This basic user training is intended for the beginner users of HD shelves being managed by FSP 3000R7. Based on an existing ring system with ROADMs, students will learn how to connect HD shelves to FSP 3000R7 to integrate QuadFlex, OpenFab and TeraFlex solutions in combination with OTN switching/protection. Optional: CryptoMux/ CryptoMux+. Services will be provisioned via Network Element Director (NED). (4 days)

Installing & Operating FSP 3000 TeraFlex (open class)
A training course on ADVA FSP 3000 TeraFlex™. Specifics on installation. Provisioning, maintenance and troubleshooting with CLI and WebGUI. Introduction to API. Refreshing OTN Basics; WDM; SNR; OSNR; Q-Factor; PMD; Modulation formats (Constellation Map); Baud Rate & Channel Spacing; Hybrid Modulation; FEC 15% and FEC 27%. (2 days)

FSP 3000R7 and Ensemble Controller Operating & Monitoring (open class)
Getting familiar with the FSP 3000 Product and using Ensemble Controller (management) Software. The equipment and Ensemble Controller server will be fully operational when the class begins. Students will learn how to provision modules using WebGUI, pull database backups, perform upgrades add network elements and services to the Ensemble Controller and troubleshoot network as well as service failures. (4 days)

ALM (dedicated class)
This training course explains in detail the components of ADVA ALM solution. Students will learn how to install, configure and maintain the ADVA ALM (1 day)

This basic user training is intended for the beginner users of HD shelves being managed by FSP 3000R7.
