Mike Heffner

Mike is the general manager of ADVA Edge Cloud. In this role, he’s responsible for ADVA’s strategy around packet edge networking, edge computing and network virtualization solutions. Mike’s specific focus includes defining competitive product and commercial strategies, market evangelism, new customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships to enhance ADVA’s go-to-market capabilities.

Mike joined ADVA in 2016 as part of the Overture Networks acquisition. He previously served as VP of PLM for the virtual edge cloud portfolio. His 29-year telecom career spans roles in R&D, product marketing and product management – including stints at Nortel, Motorola, Tektronix and Oracle. He has a degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University.
